Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Perinatal Quality Assurance Lead to establish and lead a dedicated perinatal assurance function across the Trust. The role will deliver an intelligence-led approach to assurance, providing clarity from frontline care through to Board-level oversight.

You will develop and coordinate Perinatal assurance reporting, triangulate data across incidents, workforce, performance and audit, and support Board reporting with precise, actionable

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, assurance or quality improvement.
• Ability to work with complex data and produce clear insights for senior leaders.
• Strong communication skills for board and committee reporting.
• Highly organized, analytical and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Perinatal assurance reporting.
• Triangulate data from incidents, complaints, workforce, performance and audit.
• Support Board and committee reporting with clear, accurate information.
• Enable early identification, escalation and management of risk.
• Strengthen regulatory readiness including CQC, NHS national reviews.
