Job summary

NHS England in the North East and Yorkshire Region is seeking two experienced Senior Clinical Quality Managers to drive quality improvement across maternity and perinatal services. You will provide expert leadership, assurance and support to providers and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), identifying risks and guiding improvements to safer, more equitable care for women, babies and families.

Qualifications

• Registered midwife with leadership experience in quality improvement.
• Experience in maternity and perinatal services is preferred.
• Ability to analyse complex data and translate insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality surveillance and assurance across maternity and perinatal services.
• Support regional quality improvement programmes and interventions with providers and ICBs.
• Identify early indicators of quality concerns and guide sustainable improvement plans.
• Analyse and interpret quality data to inform regional decision-making.
• Prepare strategic briefings and reports for senior leaders.
