Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Perinatal Governance, Risk and Safety Coordinator to promote patient safety, quality improvement and clinical excellence within the multidisciplinary maternity and neonatal team.

The post holder will coordinate clinical governance activities, lead incident reviews and support national safety programmes, working across maternity services to implement improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Registered Midwife with NMC and degree.
• Significant post-registration maternity experience.
• Experience of incident review and investigation.
• Experience of audit, quality improvement or service evaluation.
• Safety Incident Investigation or PSIRF training.
• Leadership and national maternity safety programmes.

Mansioni

• Coordinate governance, risk management and patient safety investigations.
• Lead reviews of incidents, complaints, claims and mortality analyses.
• Support PSIRF, MIS and Saving Babies' Lives programmes compliance.
• Provide expert leadership in patient safety and quality improvement.
• Maintain clinical credibility through practice and on-call rotas.
