Job summary

Acacia Family Support is seeking a Groupwork Practitioner to join our Birmingham-based team. This hybrid, part-time role (20 hours per week) focuses on creating safe, welcoming spaces for families affected by perinatal mental health challenges, with travel across Birmingham to run groups.

You'll work alongside volunteers and our Senior Operations Manager to deliver compassionate, person-centred groupwork, with occasional evening/weekend work to meet service needs and attend head office meetings

Responsibilities

• Create safe, welcoming and supportive spaces for families affected by perinatal mental health difficulties.
• Deliver compassionate, inclusive and person-centred groupwork with volunteers and Senior Operations Managers.
• Travel regularly across Birmingham to facilitate groups, with occasional attendance at head office meetings.
• Some evening and weekend work may be required to meet service needs.
