Job summary

Shire Healthcare is seeking a CYP Counsellor for a hybrid role, combining remote work with regular travel to Preston. The post covers about seven EBD homes for ages 5–18, offering monthly consultations and some 1:1 work with children and young people. Accreditation with HCPC/UKCP/BACP is required, along with trauma training and a driving license.

Qualifications

• Accreditation or registration with HCPC, UKCP, or BACP is required.
• Trauma training or extensive experience working with CYP trauma.
• Car owner/driver is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Cover approx. 7 EBD homes in Preston for children aged 5-18.
• Work remotely with monthly consultations and some 121 sessions.
• Travel to homes as part of a hybrid role.
