Job summary

South Western Railway (SWR) is seeking a hands-on Senior Digital Marketing professional to lead our paid search, social, and display efforts and expand into new channels. You will partner with the Senior Digital Manager and agency partners to execute test-and-learn programs and drive measurable performance improvements.

You will manage large annual budgets, optimize campaigns for CPA, ROAS and ROI, and deliver data-driven insights across web and app channels.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expert in paid search and paid social management; understands industry trends.
• Experience managing annual budgets of above £1m in an e-commerce environment.
• Proficient in optimizing campaigns toward CPA, ROAS, and ROI targets.
• Strong reporting and data skills with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and explore new trends and skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance activities across search engines, social, display, and new channels.
• Collaborate with Senior Digital Manager and media agency on test & learn plans; report insights.
• Lead creative optimization to align messages with media strategy and KPI goals.
• Map audiences and opportunities, ensure governance across paid media channels.
• Own feed management data for pricing and rewards, co-ordinate with website team.
• Report total digital sales across web and app; analyze volume, revenue, and ticket mix.
