Thames Water is seeking a Technical Coordinator – Waste Water based in Earlswood or Crawley Sewage Treatment Works, with travel to around 9 sites. The role coordinates planned and reactive maintenance, guiding internal technicians and external contractors to maximise plant availability and KPI performance.
You’ll be working in the field, using SAP for job prerequisites, and collaborating with Performance Managers while ensuring safety and statutory maintenance requirements across multiple sites.
Based in Earlswood and covering Crawley Sewage Treatment Works plus nine further sites, this full‑time Technical Coordinator – Waste Water role carries a salary from £39,770 per annum, dependent on experience.
Working predominantly in the field, you will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, directing internal mechanical, electrical, and ICA technicians alongside external contractors. Your remit involves close collaboration with Performance Managers to secure high plant availability and meet operational KPIs across the wastewater network. Candidates should bring solid technical coordination experience within a utility or industrial setting, coupled with strong organisational abilities and a full driving licence. Field‑based work demands flexibility and a proactive approach to problem‑solving across multiple locations.

Hours: 36 per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: Salary from £39,770 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
