Job summary

Equans is seeking a Performance Manager to join our Bellshill office. You will ensure services meet contractual obligations, healthcare standards and ISO requirements, coordinating with NHS, governance and subcontractors.

You will drive quality systems, audits, risk management and performance reporting to protect clinical activity and minimise disruption, with a focus on continuous improvement across facilities management.

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of quality management systems, audit processes, document control, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of complex contractual environments, preferably PFI healthcare, NHS estates or critical infrastructure service delivery.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret performance data, audit findings, compliance evidence and risk information.
  • Due to nature of the role the successful candidate will be required to obtain Disclosure Scotland to PVG Level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, maintain and continually improve quality management systems.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, inspections and certifications.
  • Ensure teams are prepared for audits with evidence maintained and findings closed.
  • Manage non-conformance, CAPA, and lessons-learned processes.

  • Prepare and submit monthly performance reports reflecting KPI data and compliance.

This is a permanent, full-time role working on average 40 hours per week. delivered in line with contractual obligations, healthcare standards, statutory requirements, Equans policies and relevant ISO management systems.Working closely with operational teams, client representatives, NHS Board representatives, healthcare stakeholders, subcontractors and internal governance functions, you will help embed a culture of compliance, accountability, risk awareness, sustainability and service excellence.Your work will directly support the safe, compliant and effective operation of healthcare facilities, while helping to protect clinical activity and minimise disruption and service performance deductions.What will you deliver?Develop, implement, maintain and continually improve quality management systems aligned with Equans standards, PFI contract obligations, healthcare requirements and applicable ISO standards.Lead and coordinate risk-based internal and external audits, compliance inspections, assurance reviews, statutory inspections and certification assessments.Ensure operational teams are prepared for audits and inspections, with accurate evidence maintained and findings effectively managed through to close-out.Manage non-conformance, corrective action, preventive action and lessons-learned processes.Maintain compliance registers, audit schedules, risk logs, action trackers and document control systems.Monitor performance against quality, compliance, health and safety, environmental and sustainability KPIs.Lead the preparation, validation and submission of monthly performance reports to the Client, Project Company and internal leadership teams.Ensure reports accurately reflect KPI data, statutory compliance, service performance, audit outcomes, improvement actions and contractual requirements.Manage and administer contractual Payment Mechanism processes, including: Performance monitoring, Service failure validation, Deduction management, Rectification verification, Performance trend analysis, Supporting evidence requirementsWork with operational and commercial teams to review Payment Mechanism performance, challenge deductions where appropriate and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.Promote compliance awareness through coaching, briefings, training, toolbox talks and best-practice sharing.Support compliance with healthcare premises guidance, technical standards, local procedures and client-specific requirements.Monitor evidence relating to health and safety, fire safety, water hygiene, electrical safety, lifting equipment and environmental controls.Support compliance with Equans health, safety, environmental, quality and sustainability policies.Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other applicable management system standards.Attend and contribute to contractual, governance and performance meetings.Participate in the contract management on-call rota.Undertake designated technical compliance responsibilities, or governance within facilities management or another regulated service environment.Understanding of complex contractual environments, preferably PFI healthcare, NHS estates or critical infrastructure
