Hargreaves Lansdown in Bristol seeks a Performance & Insights Lead to shape how Helpdesk and Operations measure performance and drive improvements. You translate complex data into concise, actionable recommendations and partner with senior stakeholders to guide decisions.

Within Workforce Management, you will set governance, elevate data literacy, and ensure trusted insights across the business to support planning, forecasting and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior analyst, insight lead or manager-level role within operations or high-volume service environments.
• Proven ability to set insight direction and deliver high-impact performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel, data manipulation and performance-modelling capability, with large datasets.
• Ability to produce executive-ready insight connecting data, root cause, business impact and actions.
• Strong stakeholders management and influencing skills with senior leaders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of trusted, scalable management information and performance insight.
• Translate complex, multi-source data into concise recommendations for senior leaders.
• Own interpretation of measures like service levels, productivity, utilisation, demand, backlog, quality and client outcomes.
• Lead deep-dive analyses to identify root causes, quantify risks and opportunities, and recommend interventions.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, capacity risks and performance improvement areas using commercial judgement.
• Create executive-ready performance narratives that explain messages, implications and actions.
• Partner with stakeholders to track actions, measure impact and highlight risks or under-delivery.
• Improve data literacy and self-service confidence by helping managers interpret metrics.
• Evaluate impact of operational change and feed learning back into planning and forecasting.
• Set clear analytical standards, definitions and governance for trusted insight.
