The role: Performance Development Coordinator (Fixed Term - 12 months)
You will coordinate and manage the workload of our teams to ensure work is completed in a timely manner, offering a seamless service to our colleagues. Working with stakeholders and third-party suppliers to deliver efficiently.
Are you passionate about people? Do you want to support, recognise and develop others around you? In this role you will empower and inspire the Heathrow Support Team to deliver all key activities to support our frontline colleagues.
You will review efficiency in processes and service delivery to ensure we are working as seamlessly as possible. You will work closely with various stakeholders and the management team to identify areas for improvement and undertake regular analysis and review of performance data and key metrics, recommending solutions where needed.
You will ensure high levels of compliance at Heathrow and consistently look for ways to make efficiencies. You will also be key in supporting people development and support activities.
What You’ll Do
With a wide range of day-to-day activities, your role as a member of the core Heathrow support function you will have the opportunity to support in shaping A Better BA by recruiting the right people, building key relationships with operational leaders and by supporting managers in upholding company policy.
Please note this role is generic across the entirety of HST however, current vacancies we have sit within Recruitment & Contracts and Policy – this is subject to change
Compliance
• Supervise all compliance medical and training elements (including maintenance of ADP, CAT 1,2,3, P Permits) across Heathrow operations with a high level focus on Below Wing (Ground Operations and Critical Services)
• Proactively review efficiency in processes and service delivery by working with internal and external stakeholders (including HAL, BAHS) and management team to identify areas for improvement
• Undertake regular analysis and review of performance data and key metrics, recommending solutions where needed.
Pass Management
• Upholding compliance in processes around the issuance and approval of airport authority passes
• Providing customer service to the Heathrow community on passes, the procedure, lead times and requirements
• Relationship management with Heathrow Airport Limited team
• Managing the programme of future ID renewals to ensure continued service in the terminal.
Absence
• Supporting line managers and other managers in the terminal on reporting processes around absence of their teams and the return-to-work process.
• Supporting colleagues when they are away from work and offering advice on their wellbeing.
• Investigating trends and areas of concern and working with managers to put in place resolutions.
• Holding absence meetings and working with trade union colleagues.
Policy
• Supporting managers in upholding company policy in Heathrow
• Administrative support for the Policy team and line managers including record keeping of meetings
• Supporting on training requirements for front line managers
Recruitment & Contracts
• Supporting stakeholders in Heathrow to build teams to achieve their objectives under A Better BA
• Building key relationships with Heathrow operational leaders to understand campaign requirements, resource approval, launch, outcomes, and contracting of new colleagues
• Managing recruitment programmes to ensure the right people are in place at the right times, seeking process efficiencies.
Training
• Supporting line areas with training requests and queries
• Assisting Heathrow Training Managers with various training projects
• Ensuring Heathrow remains compliant with training requirements
