Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking a People Technology and Information Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of HR systems, information and digital tools across the organisation. This role will drive self-service, automation and workforce analytics to support colleagues and managers throughout their employment journey.

• Extensive experience leading HR technology platforms, especially iTrent.
• Strong capability in workforce information, reporting and analytics.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of People Technology, workforce information and reporting.
• Own HR systems including iTrent to support HR and OD services.
• Lead and develop a small specialist team (3-4 colleagues).
• Develop workforce information capability and management reporting.
• Promote effective use of People Technology through guidance, training and engagement.
• Manage system access, security and information governance.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, Finance, Digital and Data teams and suppliers.
