Imperial College London is looking for a proactive HR Systems Support specialist to help manage the Division’s use of ICIS and other HR tools. You will handle user queries, assist with testing and upgrades, and contribute to data cleansing to improve accuracy and reporting.
Working closely with the People Function and ICT, you will support annual HR processes, maintain system guidance, and help ensure a reliable, customer‑focused service. This is a full‑time fixed‑term role until July 2027.
You will support the People Systems Manager with the operational management of the Division’s use of ICIS and other HR systems. This will include providing user support, being involved in system testing and improvements, supporting the introduction of new functionality, and coordinating the auditing and cleansing of HR data to improve data quality and support effective operational delivery.
As a key member of the team, you will support and maintain Imperial’s HR systems, ensuring they operate effectively and that user queries and system issues are resolved promptly. With a customer-focused approach, you will build strong working relationships within the team and across the University. You will be involved in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades and new functionality, work with ICT on system improvements, and provide guidance to People Function colleagues on using HR systems.
The role also involves system administration, data audits and cleansing, user access reviews, annual HR processes such as pay reviews and increments, and supporting data preparation for future ERP migration. You will maintain process guidance, monitor system updates, promote data quality, and work collaboratively across the People Function and other departments to ensure a reliable, customer-focused service.
