Job summary

Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive People Services Advisor to drive the Trust's Sickness Absence Improvement Programme and support managers with attendance, wellbeing and workforce outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance on attendance management, analyse workforce data, and collaborate with managers to deliver sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualified or equivalent experience, and Member of the CIPD
• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience within an HR related field of study
• Evidence of continuing professional development

Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver appropriate People Services training initiatives as directed
• Support managers to implement the sickness absence policy, including reviewing reasonable adjustments
• Audit and monitor attendance ensuring that managers follow the policy and procedures
• Assist managers to develop strategies to reduce long and short-term absence
• Be involved in the delivery of wellbeing and ill health prevention initiatives
• Provide professional People Services advice and guidance
