Job summary

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group is seeking an experienced People Advisor to join our busy People Services team in Wakefield. You will provide expert advice on people policies, employment law, and support managers through employee relations cases while helping shape policies and wellbeing initiatives.

You will analyse people data, deliver training, and contribute to positive employee experiences across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Level 5 CIPD qualification (or working towards).
• Experience working within a professional HR or People Services environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Are you an experienced HR/People professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We're seeking a proactive and people-focused People Advisor to join our busy People Services team.

Working closely with the People Relations Manager, you'll provide expert advice and support across a broad range of people matters, including employee relations, absence management, organisational change, recruitment and wellbeing. You'll coach and support managers, helping them confidently navigate people challenges and deliver positive outcomes for colleagues.
