We are seeking a motivated and proactive People Services Advisor to play a key role in delivering the Trust's Sickness Absence Improvement Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to support managers across the organisation to improve attendance, promote employee wellbeing and deliver positive workforce outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor, the post holder will provide expert guidance on attendance management, support the analysis of workforce data, identify opportunities for service improvement and work collaboratively with managers to implement sustainable solutions. Working as part of a dynamic People Services team, the post holder will contribute to projects and initiatives that directly support the Trust's People Strategy and organisational objectives.Main duties of the job To organise and deliver appropriate People Services training initiatives as directed To support managers to implement the sickness absence policy, including reviewing reasonable adjustments To audit and monitor attendance ensuring that managers follow the relevant policy and procedures. To assist managers to develop strategies to reduce long and short-term absence. To be involved in the delivery of wellbeing and ill health prevention initiatives. To provide professional People Services advice and guidance. To promote and maintain a positive employee relations climate which is based on co-operation and partnership working. To support the development of action plans to attain and maintain performance levels within Trust thresholds with regard to relevant workforce related KPI's. To liaise with the workforce information team in producing meaningful workforce reports to a sufficient level of detail. To contribute to developing the equality agenda for colleagues and to operate in a manner that underpins the principals of the agenda. To provide ad hoc training to colleagues at all levels within the Trust as required, involving supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of training provided.
