Job summary

NRG. in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced People Services Advisor on a fixed-term 12-month contract to support managers across employee relations, performance, sickness absence and wellbeing.

You will influence leaders and help build capability while upholding policy and compliant practices. You will coach managers, monitor absence trends, provide practical advice on UK law and people processes, and collaborate with specialist teams to drive improvements across the employee experience

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR/People background in a complex environment.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Knowledge of UK employment law is essential.
• Confident advising and influencing managers and leaders.
• Excellent communication and empathy in sensitive conversations.
• Coaching-led approach empowering managers to improve performance.
• Analytical and organisational skills with People data experience.
• Interest in continuous improvement and new ways of working.
• CIPD membership or equivalent qualification is advantageous.

We are partnering with a highly respected, purpose-led professional services organisation to appoint an experienced People Services Advisor to join its People Services team on a fixed term 12 month contract.

This is a broad and influential role, working closely with managers and leaders to provide expert advice across employee relations, performance, sickness absence and wellbeing, while developing management capability and improving the overall People service.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional with:

• A strong generalist HR/People background, ideally within a complex or professional services environment.
• Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confidence advising and influencing managers and leaders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy.
• A proactive, coaching-led approach that empowers managers.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, including experience using People data and MI.
• A genuine interest in continuous improvement and challenging established ways of working.
• CIPD membership or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
