Job summary

NRG Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced People Services Advisor on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role collaborates with managers to advise on disciplinary, performance, absence, and wellbeing matters, while building management capability through coaching and data-informed insight.

You will influence leaders, ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, and contribute to policy development and process improvements within a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR/People experience in a complex or professional services environment.
• Proven track record managing complex employee relations cases.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confident in advising and influencing managers and leaders.
• Excellent communication and empathy in sensitive conversations.
• Proactive, coaching-led approach to empower managers.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with People data/MI.
• Interest in continuous improvement and challenging existing ways.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• CIPD membership or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Advising and coaching managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters.
• Supporting managers with complex sickness cases, including reasonable adjustments and occupational health.
• Monitoring absence trends and using data to identify opportunities for early intervention.
• Building trusted relationships with managers and senior stakeholders across the business.
• Providing practical advice on UK employment law, policies and people processes.
• Working with specialist People teams where additional expertise is required.
• Developing guidance, tools and training to improve management capability.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of People policies.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and employee experience.
• Supporting wider People projects and organisational priorities.
• Ensuring people practices remain compliant with UK employment legislation.

We are partnering with a highly respected, purpose-led professional services organisation to appoint an experienced People Services Advisor to join its People Services team on a fixed term 12 month contract.
