Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking an experienced People Advisor to join our People Team in the Central Division. You will provide professional, commercially focused support across the full employee lifecycle, advising managers and employees on policies, processes, and employment matters in line with UK law.

You will coach managers, support TUPE and organisational change, and contribute to a positive, high‑performing culture with strong communication and decision‑making skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in a HR/People Advisor role managing high‑volume and complex ER cases.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • End‑to‑end TUPE experience including data preparation, consultation and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence and capability matters.
  • Coach, challenge and influence managers to make legally compliant decisions.
  • Produce outcome letters, investigation reports and case documentation to a high standard.
  • Identify ER trends and propose preventative actions and training requirements.
  • Support TUPE transfers (inbound and outbound) with accurate employee data management and consultation.
  • Collaborate with Senior People Advisors and People Business Partners.

Job description

Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced People Advisor to join our People Team within our Central Division to provide professional and commercially focused support across the full employee lifecycle. In this role, you will offer timely, practical advice to managers and employees on people policies, processes and employment matters, ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance with UK employment law. Your contribution will play a vital part in enabling effective decision‑making, strengthening people capability and fostering a positive, well‑supported, and high‑performing workforce across the organisation.

Our Central Services team provides expert support across our business – from governance, compliance and business development to finance, marketing, HR, and IT. By partnering with our frontline operations, they help drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement – all in support of our mission to Transform Communities, Change Lives.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR/People Advisor with strong employment law knowledge and a proven track record of managing high volume and complex ER matters with confidence and independence. You will thrive in environments where you can coach and influence managers, support TUPE and organisational change and play an active role in strengthening culture, wellbeing and engagement. With excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex situations with confidence, you will bring strong influencing skills and effective decision‑making to the role.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • In conjunction with the Senior People Advisor, provide advice and guidance on TUPE legislation, measures, changes to terms, and employee communications.
  • Support restructures, redundancies, and organisational change, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Senior People Advisors and People Business Partners.
  • Provide clear, consistent guidance to employees and managers on policies and procedures.
  • Coach managers to build employee capability.
  • Support wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement initiatives across the organisation.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, ethical, and high‑performance culture.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams within the People function (Talent and Development, People Operations and Payroll) and wider organisation.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a HR/People Advisor role, managing high‑volume and complex ER cases with minimal escalation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, with proven ability to coach and influence managers.
  • End‑to‑end TUPE experience, including data preparation, consultation, and implementation.
  • Confident managing restructures, redundancy consultations and organisational change, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills, supported by strong analytical ability to interpret HR data and identify trends.High professional integrity and discretion, with desirable attributes including CIPD Level 5 (or studying), multi‑site experience, fast‑paced environments or exposure to FM/housing sectors.
