Do you have a strong background in employee relations, HR systems, and policy implementation?

Our client, a large and inclusive academy based in Milton Keynes, is seeking a dedicated People Services Advisor to join their central HR function. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective operation of the academy's people services, supporting staff and leadership in delivering a high-quality educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice and support on HR matters, including employee relations, absence management, and performance.
  2. Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with legislation.
  3. Support the recruitment process from start to finish, including advertising, shortlisting, and onboarding.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely HR documentation, such as contracts, letters, and reports.
  5. Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures, and support training delivery when required.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a positive working culture and resolve people-related issues effectively.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Has previous experience in a busy HR or People Services role, preferably in education.
  2. Holds a CIPD Level 3 qualification (or is working towards it).
  3. Has a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  4. Is confident using HR systems and MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  5. Demonstrates excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  6. Is discreet, professional, and committed to confidentiality and high standards of service.
