Job summary

Reed in Partnership in the UK is seeking a Business Manager to lead and motivate a team across Cambridge & Peterborough, managing up to 8 Careers Coaches and a small caseload of participants. The role is office-based with travel as required.

You will drive stakeholder engagement with the DPW, JCP and employers, manage performance against targets, coach staff, and monitor KPI trends using management information tools. Strong administration and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous direct line management of a team.
• Proven track record of meeting targets.
• Evidence of experience in mentoring and coaching.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement with DPW, JCP and employers.
• Performance management and identifying skills gaps.
• Management of a small caseload of participants.
• Acting as a part-fee earner against targets.
• Identifying training needs and coordinating delivery.
• Regular one-to-one reviews and performance appraisals.
• Coaching of co-members and delegation of responsibilities.
• Weekly/monthly KPI checks and trend analysis.
• Monitoring customer services and handling complaints.
• Escalating issues to the Operations Manager when needed.
