Job summary

Birmingham Hospice is seeking a proactive People Partner & Service Lead to provide leadership for the People Team and enhance the colleague and volunteer experience across all sites in Birmingham.

You will lead day-to-day People services, advise on ER, performance and change, and partner with managers to deliver high-quality, people-centred services that support recruitment, engagement, retention and reward.

Qualifications

• CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent with extensive practical experience.
• Significant experience in a People function with strong employee relations expertise.
• Knowledge across recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement, organisational development and policy development.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing People teams.
• Strong stakeholder management with credibility and influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of our People services, providing expert advice, coaching and support across employee relations, performance and organisational change.
• Work closely with the Head of People to shape and deliver the People Strategy.
• Partner with managers and leaders to attract, recruit, engage, retain and reward our people across Birmingham Hospice.
