Job summary

Resourcing4HR is recruiting a People Business Partner to join our HR team at the Watford Head Office. A hands-on HR generalist role, you will advise managers, handle complex ER cases and embed HR policies across head office and operations.

You will partner with the Head of People, driving employee engagement and supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management in a busy, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• HR generalist/partner experience with strong ER background.
• CIPD Level 3+ or equivalent HR qualification.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing ER cases: disciplinaries, grievances, absence.
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to HR issues.
• Experience in fast-paced, operational environments.
• Retail, FMCG or multi-site experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Manage complex employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters.
• Support investigations and advise managers on appropriate action.
• Coach managers to become effective people leaders.
• Support conflict resolution and mediation.
• Manage absence and support employee wellbeing.
• Advise on employment law and ensuring HR policies are applied consistently.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HR systems.
• Drive employee engagement and support an inclusive workplace culture.
• Support HR projects and initiatives alongside the Head of People.
• Provide HR support across multiple operational locations as required.
