People Partner Salary: From £45k per annum

We have a fantastic vacancy for a proactive and passionate People Partner to support the operations teams within our Midlands operations division. This varied role would suit someone with previous experience in a generalist HR role, who is passionate about our industry, our guests, and most importantly, our people.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in a generalist HR or ER role, eager to contribute to our industry and team. The successful candidate will drive business performance by collaborating with Operations Managers, providing sound commercial advice, and delivering people-centric solutions.

You will need to build strong stakeholder relationships and work with them to implement their people plans, aiming to attract, retain, and develop top talent. Your role includes supporting engagement and retention initiatives, fostering a performance culture, and promoting a growth mindset.

This strategic, agile role reports to the Senior People Partner and requires managing your own schedule to meet business needs. Travel throughout our estate and proximity to our Pub Support Centre in Wolverhampton are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Operations Managers to enhance business performance through strategic HR support.
  2. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to achieve their people objectives.
  3. Support talent attraction, retention, and development initiatives.
  4. Provide coaching and advice to deliver effective employee relations and HR services.
  5. Manage dispute resolution and long-term sickness cases, ensuring strong employee relations.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, supportive, and forward-thinking team environment.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Is energetic, results-driven, and passionate about HR.
  • Can coach peers and managers effectively.
  • Has project and change management experience.
  • Can analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Has commercial awareness and previous generalist HR experience, preferably in Hospitality or Retail.
  • Possesses a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Holds a full UK driving license, as travel is required.
