People Partner Salary: From £45k per annum

We have a fantastic vacancy for a proactive and passionate People Partner to support the operations teams within our Midlands operations division. This varied role would suit someone with previous experience in a generalist HR role, who is passionate about our industry, our guests, and most importantly, our people.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in a generalist HR or ER role, eager to drive business performance by collaborating with Operations Managers and their teams. You will provide sound commercial advice and people-centric solutions, building strong stakeholder relationships to deliver effective people plans that enhance performance, attract, retain, and develop talent, and foster a growth mindset.

This strategic, agile role reports to the Senior People Partner and requires managing your own diary to meet business needs. Travel throughout our estate and proximity to our Pub Support Centre in Wolverhampton are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive business performance collaboratively with Operations Managers, offering commercial advice and people solutions.
  2. Build relationships with stakeholders to implement people plans that improve performance.
  3. Support talent attraction, retention, and development; execute engagement and retention strategies; promote a performance culture and growth mindset.
  4. Provide coaching and advice to deliver effective employee relations and HR services to various management levels and team members.
  5. Manage dispute resolution and long-term sickness cases, ensuring strong employee relations through responsive support.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, supportive, and forward-thinking environment.
  • Possesses a confident, engaging personality with effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Is energetic, results-driven, and capable of coaching peers and managers.
  • Has project and change-management experience.
  • Can analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Has strong commercial awareness.
  • Has previous experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in Hospitality or Retail.
  • Is educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Holds a full UK driving license, as travel is required.
