Job summary

White Stuff is seeking an experienced People Operations Lead to provide day-to-day operational leadership across the People function. You will guide People Business Partners and Recruitment, drive process improvements and system readiness, and build a strong, capable team across Retail, Head Office, Distribution Centre and Contact Centre.

You will balance delivery with change, data and process improvements while keeping colleague experience at the heart of decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a People role leading operational activity across multiple sites.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience is desirable.
• Retail sector experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership across the People function, including People BP and Recruitment.
• Lead transformation, process improvement, and system readiness across Retail, Head Office, Distribution Centre and Contact Centre.
• Develop team capability and establish clear priorities, ownership and accountability.
• Coach and develop team members to build commercial judgement and capability.
• Work with L&D on development plans and ensure learning translates to delivery.
• Ensure data, governance and reporting support good decision making across the function.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
