Are you an experienced People Officer looking for a career in the NHS? Perhaps you are already a seasoned People Assistant or administrator looking to further your career., We have an excellent development opportunity for a People Officer to support our People Team at NHFT. The People Officer plays a crucial role by providing first line advice and guidance on policies and procedures to support the delivery of a customer focused People service.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for enquiries for the People Tam and will be expected to work on their own initiative., The People Officer provides a comprehensive administrative and advisory service within the People Team, acting as the first point of contact for staff enquiries across the Trust. The role involves providing guidance on people policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment, resolving routine queries and escalating more complex matters where appropriate.

We are looking for someone who is able to work on their own initiative, prioritise and organise their own workload and communicate effectively with staff of all levels within the organisation to resolve concerns and queries, provide advice and guidance and know when to escape to senior staff.

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community.
