Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Service Manager in Caernarfon, Gwynedd to lead two support services for six individuals with learning disabilities. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care and foster a positive team environment.

You will develop care plans, manage staff, and liaise with families and external agencies while promoting continuous improvement and best practice. Welsh language skills are desirable for local communication.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification or current study underway.
• Proven experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities in social care.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Flexible availability including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of two services for six individuals.
• Provide leadership and direction to support staff.
• Develop and review support plans and risk assessments.
• Build relationships with service users, families and external agencies.
• Conduct coaching and performance management to maintain high standards.

Skills

Strong communication skills

Flexibility to work shifts

Driver's licence

Welsh language desirable

Education

Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification
