Job summary

M&D Care Limited is seeking a Service Manager for Supported Living Services in a multi-site role based in Head Office with four services across Southwest Wales. You will lead day-to-day care operations, develop staff, and ensure high standards of care, safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have QCF Level 5 or 3 with management experience, strong leadership and IT skills, and a driving licence. The role offers a full-time contract, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £37,080 per annum.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 5 ideal or QCF Level 3 with proven management experience and willingness to work towards Level 5
• Experience managing staff in a social care setting
• Strong understanding of supported living and best practice
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to write and oversee care plans and risk assessments
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and Class 1 business insurance
• Commitment to dignity, independence and rights of the people we support

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily running of the service and ensure high standards of care
• Lead, support and develop staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision
• Manage rotas, staffing levels, records, reports and compliance
• Maintain safe, effective services in line with legislation and company policies
• Ensure personalised care plans and risk assessments are up to date
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and the wider community
• Handle complaints, incidents and quality improvements
• Support business development and staff retention
