Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in Ewloe, Flintshire, is recruiting an Assistant Service Manager to support people with learning disabilities to live independently. You’ll work alongside the Service Manager, lead a team, and help deliver safe, person-centred care on a rota that includes weekends and sleep-ins.

A full driving licence and willingness to travel are essential. We offer training, generous annual leave, a pension and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning difficulties in a social care setting.
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
• Strong caring nature to support others to live an enriched life.
• Full driving licence - essential and willing to travel for meetings and training.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager to ensure a safe and caring service.
• Provide leadership and manage the team, with appraisals and meetings.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and promote independence for people we support.
