Job summary

Gloucestershire College is seeking a proactive and organised People Development Coordinator to join the People Development Team. You will work with colleagues to support People projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and help our people be at their best, contributing to the Strategic Plan 2026-2030.

You will coordinate People initiatives across professional development, engagement, recruitment, wellbeing, systems and continuous improvement, working closely with the People

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Proactive approach, with the confidence to take initiative and progress activities with appropriate guidance.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 and other business systems.
  • The ability to work independently while being a collaborative and supportive team member.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate People projects and events across professional development, employee engagement, recruitment, wellbeing, systems, data and continuous improvement.
  • Support professional development activities and contribute to employee experience initiatives.
  • Help improve processes and ways of working across the People team.
  • Work with People data to inform decisions and outcomes.
