Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an experienced People Data Reporting Manager to translate HR data into actionable insights for P&C leadership in a fast-paced professional services environment. You will collaborate with the Data Office to ensure reliable reporting and governance, shaping the narrative presented to the board and senior leaders.

The role emphasizes leveraging existing Power BI dashboards, turning data into decision-ready insights, and aligning with Data Office standards.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HR data and metrics (e.g. workforce, talent, reward, engagement, DE&I).
• Confident user of Power BI reports and dashboards, able to navigate existing reports.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work at pace across concurrent, ad-hoc requests within BAU reporting cycles.
• Knowledge of data protection and governance in HR context.

Responsibilities

• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as the first point of contact for day-to-day reporting and data queries.
• Dashboard consumption, interpretation and adaptation of existing Power BI reports.
• Translate people data into clear, decision-ready narrative for leadership.
• Liaise with People Data Analyst and Data Office on data/model changes.
• Flag new data requirements and data quality issues to the People Data Analyst and Data Office.
• Apply Data Office governance standards when handling sensitive data.
• Build stakeholder confidence in P&C reporting through clear narrative.
