Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd is seeking a experienced People & Culture Officer to support our homes across the group from its Dudley location. This full-time role focuses on absence, health and wellbeing, and a range of employment issues to help staff thrive.

You will drive onboarding, ensure HR systems and our e-learning platform stay up to date, and handle employment documentation in line with law and CQC regulations. Travel to other sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, especially recruitment and onboarding.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
• Must have a driving licence and CIPD Level 5 or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding process for allocated homes and ensure information is up to date on HR systems, website and e-learning platform.
• Complete employment documentation in line with company procedures and employment law, immigration law and CQC regulations.
• Provide advice on absence, health and wellbeing and a range of employment issues to support homes and management teams.
• Travel to other sites within the Company as required.

People & Culture Officer (Full-time, 37.5hours a week)

Location: Dudley, West Midlands, DY1 1UB

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced People & Culture Officer to provide advice to the group in relation to absence, health and wellbeing and a range of employment issues as required. Support homes to create a culture that promotes our values and allows individuals to thrive. All employees are bound by the company rules and the residents charter.

The People & Culture officer will be responsible for the onboarding process of allocated homes, ensuring all systems, our website, and our e-learning platform, contain relevant information and are up to date, and completing employment documentation in line with company procedures and ensuring the process if carried out in line with employment law, immigration law and CQC regulations.Travel will also be required to other sites within the Company as and when required.

We are seeking someone who has sound knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, particularly with recruitment and onboarding, and can support our homes and management teams efficiently.The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and with different audiences in a friendly and professional manner.

Must be a driver and have a CIPD level 5 or working towards.
