Job summary

Hereford Medical Group is seeking a proactive HR & OD Manager to support a large medical practice with 160+ staff across four sites. You will shape the people strategy, foster a compassionate culture, and drive continuous improvement to enhance patient care.

Working closely with senior management, you will lead recruitment, learning, wellbeing, and performance initiatives while advising managers on workforce planning and policy compliance within an NHS context.

Qualifications

• Strong HR and organisational development background.
• Experience in healthcare settings and NHS environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, staff retention, and employee relations.
• Identify learning needs and create opportunities for staff training and professional development.
• Promote staff wellbeing, engagement, inclusion, and a supportive working environment.
• Lead organisational development initiatives to improve how we work and support change.
• Support managers with performance reviews, coaching and development plans.
• Provide practical HR guidance to people managers, workforce planning, and team development.
• Ensure fair, compliant HR policies and adherence to employment legislation and healthcare requirements.
