Avove is seeking a People Advisor to join our People and Culture team in Chorley or Warrington. You will provide practical advice to managers, own employee relations cases through to resolution, and support policies and processes across the organisation.

You’ll collaborate with the People Partner team on complex matters and use data to identify risks, contributing to positive workplace culture through projects and engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of HR practices, employment law and employee relations.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with managers and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to use data and reporting to identify trends and support decision-making.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards one.

Responsabilités

• Manage and own a varied caseload of employee relations matters, seeing each case through to resolution.
• Guide and support managers through formal People processes, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Act as a trusted adviser and coach to managers, building confidence and capability in managing people matters.
• Work with People Partners on more complex or higher-risk ER matters, including TUPE, redundancy and discrimination-related cases.
• Identify and elevate complex or sensitive matters with People Partners and external advisers where required.
• Effectively manage and prioritise your caseload, considering risk, complexity, and business needs.
