Would you like to be part of a team that is driving dynamic and exciting changes to their people practices? Our forward-looking People and Culture team has a permanent opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner to join them.

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will support the business in delivering their people strategy. You will work in partnership with management and leadership teams, providing high-quality HR and employee relations advice nationally, and supporting strategic change projects. You will lead local improvements to employee experience, talent management, and capability, as well as support the Group People & Culture Director on national change and improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work as part of a forward-looking People & Culture team aspiring to be a Top 100 business to work for and an Investors in People Gold to Platinum accredited business.
  2. Coach and advise leaders and managers on policies and employment law to increase awareness and management capability. Attend management meetings as required.
  3. Develop strong collaborative relationships with the Senior Employee Relations Advisor to ensure alignment on employee relations strategies.
  4. Act as a conduit between your business unit and the wider People & Culture Team, ensuring effective communication and feedback.
  5. Lead initiatives to improve employee experience and retain top talent.
  6. Support staff wellbeing through proactive wellbeing plans to foster resilience.
  7. Assist in identifying talent development and training needs to support career growth and succession planning.
  8. Drive and promote the culture of Pick Everard, acting as a values ambassador, and continuously improve policies and practices.

We operate a hybrid work approach, balancing home and office work. Our team collaborates closely with HR functions including Recruitment, Learning & Development, and others to deliver strategic HR support.

About You

If you have experience collaborating with Recruitment and L&D teams, and in designing HR solutions and projects, this role offers a chance to foster cross-team collaboration. You should be proactive, communicative, and value adding to the organization.

Technical Competency Requirements
  1. CIPD qualified (or working towards), or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience as an HR Business Partner.
  3. Good knowledge of employment law.
  4. Experience supporting a professional workforce.
  5. Proven ability to deliver projects independently or in teams.
  6. Experience with HR change and improvement projects is desirable.
Behavioral Competency Requirements
  1. Resilience and composure under pressure.
  2. Confidence in positive challenging.
  3. Emotional self-management and relationship building skills.
