Job summary

Nichols plc is seeking a People Advisor to deliver a professional, proactive HR service across the business. You will handle employee relations matters, coach managers, and ensure consistent application of policies and employment law.

You will engage in People projects, spot opportunities, and bring a practical, can-do attitude to everyday processes while balancing autonomy with collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
• Proven experience managing complex Employee Relations casework.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and data-driven mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgement in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, proactive HR support across the business.
• Navigate employee relations matters and coach managers.
• Deliver policy-advice and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Lead or support HR initiatives and projects aligned with People strategy.
