You will be part of a busy ER team supporting Manchester Airport, providing comprehensive end-to-end HR casework advice to Line Managers. Responsibilities include managing disciplinary matters, dismissals, and employment tribunals, building relationships with Trade Unions, managers, and senior staff. Key duties involve providing accurate advice, acting as a Subject Matter Expert in absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, delivering training, supporting policy development, and contributing to departmental forums.
Ideal candidates will have extensive complex case management experience, detailed employment law knowledge, and experience working with Trade Unions in partnership agreements. CIPD qualification is preferred. Experience within a large, complex organization with a high volume of ER work is essential. Due to ongoing organizational changes impacting ER workload, candidates should be available from October, able to commute to Manchester Airport, and willing to work at least four days a week in the office.
