Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Pensions Specialist (Trustee) to join our UK Pensions & Benefits team.

You will support governance, management and day‑to‑day operation of UK trust‑based DB and DC schemes, working with Trustees, internal stakeholders and external advisers to ensure compliant, well‑run schemes. You will collaborate on governance portals, risk registers, and project work across multiple schemes, ensuring timely, accurate minutes and papers.

Qualifications

• Experience with UK trust‑based defined benefit and/or defined contribution pension schemes.
• Experience supporting Trustee Boards or governance structures.
• Strong understanding of UK pensions legislation, regulation and governance best practice.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings for Trustee Boards and sub-committees, prepare papers, attend meetings, draft minutes and track actions.
• Maintain documentation on trustee and governance portals and keep governance materials up to date.
• Oversee projects such as annual scheme audits, member communications and benefit statements.
• Act as a key contact for external administrators and oversee service delivery and discretionary death benefit processes.
• Support oversight of services from external advisers and assist the Pensions Manager and team.
