Job summary

Iconic Resourcing Ltd. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join its pensions team in Glasgow. The role focuses on processing pensioner payrolls, ensuring timely payments and compliance with PAYE and HMRC requirements.

You will support accuracy and continuous improvement within a collaborative, client‑facing environment. The position offers hybrid working (two days in the Glasgow office), a salary of £25,000–£30,000, and a supportive team culture with ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration, preferably involving pensioner payrolls.
• Knowledge of PAYE, statutory deductions and HMRC reporting requirements.
• Experience using payroll systems and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Process pensioner payrolls accurately and on time.
• Calculate PAYE deductions and support HMRC submissions.
• Maintain pensioner records and update tax codes and increases.
• Prepare payslips and payroll communications.
• Respond to payroll queries from members and stakeholders.
• Reconcile payroll bank accounts and assist with cash management.
• Support onboarding of new client payroll services.
• Maintain accurate records and compliant documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and banking contacts.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems.
