Job summary

Spence is seeking a Pensions Administrator in Glasgow to manage administration for Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes. You will act as the point of contact for scheme members, managers/trustees, and third parties, delivering accurate information and high-quality service.

As part of the Pensions Delivery - Ongoing Administration team, you will support complex tasks, mentor juniors, and work to demanding deadlines.

Qualifications

• Broad pensions knowledge with 3+ years in Defined Benefit admin and UK pensions legislation.
• Knowledge of computerised systems such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with scheme members and trustees.
• Ability to work proactively and use own initiative.
• Capable in a fast-moving environment delivering client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain administration of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes for trustees.
• Be the main contact for scheme members, managers/trustees and third parties.
• Provide clear, accurate information to members and beneficiaries.
• Mentor and peer review of less experienced administrators.
• Handle exercises from winding up schemes to calculating member benefits.
