Job summary

LA International is seeking a Pega Lead System Architect for a 3-month contract in the UK, hybrid with 2 days onsite per week in Telford. You will lead end-to-end Pega architecture, define roadmaps, and mentor teams, driving large-scale digital initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in IT, 7+ years in Pega, CLSA/LSA certification, and strong experience with REST/SOAP integrations, security, and DevOps. This role supports business objectives across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 7+ in Pega.
• Pega CLSA/LSA certification.
• Experience with Pega Infinity Platform, enterprise architecture, case management, and integration frameworks.
• Proven skills in DevOps, CI/CD, security, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise Pega applications.
• Define solution architecture, integration strategy, and roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership to Pega teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and governance.
• Ensure Pega guardrails and best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise Pega applications.
• Define solution architecture, integration strategy, and technical roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership to Pega development teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design governance.
• Ensure applications comply with Pega guardrails and industry best practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design complex integrations with external systems using APIs, SOAP, REST, MQ, and database technologies.
• Guide performance tuning, security implementation, and scalability planning.
• Support project estimations, technical planning, and risk management.
• Mentor CSSA/SSA developers and establish development standards.

Key Skills & Experience

• Ideally 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years in Pega.
• Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA/LSA) Certification.
• Extensive experience with:

• Experience leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within UK Public Sector, Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kafka, Microservices Architecture, and Containerization.

Certifications

• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA/LSA)
• Preferred: CSSA, CDH, CPDC Certifications
