Job summary

LA International is seeking a Pega Lead Business Analyst (LBA) for a 3-month contract with extensions, hybrid working pattern (2 days per week onsite in Telford). The role focuses on bridging business and technical teams, leading requirements, process mapping, and Pega solution design for digital transformation projects.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in BA, 5+ years on Pega, and a PCBA or equivalent certification. Agile/Scrum experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Business Analysis with 5+ years on Pega platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Pega BPM, Case Management, and Digital Process Automation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• PCBA or relevant Pega certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities for Pega transformation projects.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, and process workflows.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Pega development teams.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Support backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning activities.
• Conduct requirements validation, UAT support, and stakeholder sign-offs.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and provide functional leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead Business Analyst (LBA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, leading requirements gathering, business process analysis, and Pega solution design to deliver high-quality digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities for Pega transformation projects.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, and process workflows.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with business stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Ideally 8+ years of Business Analysis experience with at least 5 years working on Pega platforms.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Expertise in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) or relevant Pega certification.
• Experience in Public Sector, Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
