Job summary

Cognizant in Birmingham is hiring a Pega Business Analyst to support one of our largest clients within the Cognizant Pega practice. You will work with business stakeholders and end-users to understand challenges and clearly document requirements.

You will maintain a prioritized backlog, build strong stakeholder relationships, and elicit requirements using JIRA and Pega Agile Studio in use-case or user story format.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of Pega is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Business Process Modelling (Microsoft Visio is a plus).
• Knowledge of JIRA, writing user stories, use-cases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in Agile projects.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders and end-users to understand and document business challenges, pain points and requirements.

• Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements in tools like JIRA, Pega Agile Studio in use-case or user story format.

• Identify innovative ways to address business challenges and identify solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between business and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations.
• Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process

This is a hybrid role with client visits 2/3 times per month.

We are currently hiring a Pega Business Analyst to join one of our largest clients but more importantly join our Cognizant Pega practice. If you have experience working as a Business Analyst on a Pega project - We would love to hear from you.

What can I expect in this role:
