Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a forward-thinking, innovative team delivering client-centred and occupation-centred care. Based at Mile End Hospital, you will work with Speech and Language Therapists, Paediatricians and Physiotherapists to serve children and young people with developmental and medical needs, in homes, schools and communities.

The role offers clinical supervision, in-service training and CPD opportunities, with flexible working options

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Essential: HCPC registered.
• Essential: Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Essential: Evidence of relevant postgraduate education and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide client centred specialist Occupational Therapy input to children and young people with developmental disabilities or other medical conditions affecting their occupational performance.
• Support for other professionals, educational staff, parents and carers involved in addressing occupational performance issues in the community.
