Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust in Tower Hamlets is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our Children’s Community Team based at Mile End Hospital. The role offers exposure to a range of neurodevelopmental conditions and opportunities to support children's participation at home, school, and in the community.

The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of the OT process; Children’s OT experience is not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in neurodevelopmental conditions is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to assess and plan OT interventions for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and therapy interventions for children aged 5–11 years.
• Supervise bilingual OT assistants and support student placements.
• Access regular supervision and clinical supervision to enable preceptorship.
