Job summary

Pulse Healthcare seeks an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a SEND team in Essex, delivering specialist OT interventions for children with additional needs and supporting schools, families, and EHCPs.

The role involves visiting schools across Essex, liaising with parents, teachers and professionals, and delivering therapy for gross motor, fine motor, and sensory needs, with opportunities for flexible full- or part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Sensory integration training and experience working with children.
• Ability to deliver a range of therapies in school settings.
• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Section F of EHCPs, ensuring accurate and comprehensive input.
• Visit schools across Essex to provide therapy and support.
• Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Deliver therapy for gross motor, fine motor, and sensory needs.
• Write detailed reports and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
