Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Registered Children's Nurse (Band 5) to join the team in our Children's Emergency Department and Children’s Assessment Unit. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, family-centered paediatric care with multidisciplinary collaboration in a purpose-built department.

You will be an advocate for every child, safeguarding, and promoting play and education while supporting the family throughout their care journey.

Qualifications

• Registered Children's Nurse with appropriate nursing registration.
• Experience in paediatric care or emergency settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, holistic and family-centered paediatric care.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualized care in partnership with children and families.
• Advocate for children’s physical, emotional, social and developmental needs.
