Job summary

East Cheshire NHS Trust in Macclesfield seeks an Emergency Department Paediatric Staff Nurse (Band 5) to join the brand new Children’s A&E. The department handles over 52,000 patients annually, including 10,000 children, 24/7, collaborating with local Acute Trusts in the North West.

As a Staff Nurse you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within national Sepsis standards, while maintaining excellent documentation and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
• Understanding of NMC Code, safeguarding and consent; NHS values.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high quality nursing care.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of documentation.
• Provide patient-centred care and support across shifts.
