Job summary

Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Housekeeper in Basildon to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will work with contractors and other departments to monitor quality and maintain confidentiality in all tasks.

The role includes organizing stores, delivering/collecting items between departments, and supporting patient facilities across the ward and the Polly Parrot Parents Accommodation when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the environment in accordance with Trust policies.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks and assist in managing ward stores, catering equipment, linen and supplies.
• Support running and upkeep of the Polly Parrot Parents Accommodation when in operation; keep the house clean and welcoming for families.
