Job summary

East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Ward 9 in the Emergency Department on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, working within a multi-disciplinary team.

We offer learning and development opportunities, comprehensive training, and support from management. An Enhanced DBS check is required, with sponsorship not available for Skilled Worker visa holders.

Qualifications

• Good standard of secondary education is required.
• NVQ qualification or equivalent health and social care training.
• Food hygiene certificate and health and safety awareness are desirable.
• NVQ level 2/3 preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Have responsibility for housekeeping duties on the ward.
• Disseminate good practice to ward teams to ensure service is maintained in their absence.
• Provide an efficient housekeeping service with high standards and a safe, welcoming environment.
